PARRIS ISLAND, S.C – Recruits of Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, proved they are worthy of the title of United States Marine during recruit training’s 54-hour culminating event, the Crucible, on Aug. 22-24, 2013, on Parris Island, S.C.
During the Crucible, recruits are evaluated mentally, morally and physically on their development of the Marine Corps’ core values. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 30, 2013.
