MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho - A U.S. Marine from the 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company Supporting Arms Liaison Team engage “insurgents” at a Juniper Butte Bombing Range mock village near Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, Oct. 9, 2013.
The SALT assaulted the village and seized weapons of mass destruction during exercise Mountain Roundup 2013.
Mountain Roundup goes beyond Marines; it's an opportunity for a major coalition partner nation - Germany - to certify proficiency on mission employment tasks.
