WASHINGTON - The Metropolitan Police Department conducted bicycle training for new recruits onboard Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling recently when their original site was unavailable to them.
During the 50-year anniversary of the historic March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom which was led by Martin Luther King, Jr., buses and other vehicles were staged in the lots near Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium.
Due to a close working relationship between JBAB and the police department, arrangements were made so that training could proceed as scheduled, but this time at JBAB.
