DAEGU GARRISON - First platoon of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, conducted combative Feb. 6 at Camp Walker.
Soldiers and noncommissioned officers executed a foot march across Camp Walker during the PRT session.
Beginning in November, the 19th ESC has extended its PRT session time from 60 minutes to 90 minutes, following PT guidelines set by the Eighth Army. On Thursdays’, soldiers are required to wear their Army combat uniform to the formation and conduct combat PRT.
“The combat PRT conducted on Thursdays have helped me to utilize and familiarize with military equipment,” said Cpl. Lee Si-young, 19th ESC Surgeon Cell medical administrator. “The training exercises motivate me to be ready to fight tonight.”
