    Joint Task Force-National Capital Region

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Sgt. Joshua T. Nelson, Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region/U.S. Army Military District of Washington chaplain assistant, took the oath of reenlistment during a ceremony held at the JFHQ-NCR/MDW Command Chaplain's Office at Fort Lesley J. McNair.

Nelson, from Wixom, Mich., reenlisted in the Army for six years. The ceremony was hosted by Chaplain (Col.) Michael E. Brainerd, JFHQ-NCR/MDW command chaplain and Master Sgt. Carlos Clausel, JFHQ-NCR/MDW command chaplain noncommissioned officer in charge.

"Sergeant Nelson has impeccable character and integrity, and he always strives diligently to do the right thing. He is the most conscientious person I know and he works hard living a life of putting the other guy first, which actually expresses his faith by living out the greatest commandment," said Brainerd. "His family is his gift from God and he works hard every day to give them his best, despite whatever struggle he may be going through. I am glad he is on our team!"
