FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kan. - Two employees from the Mission Training Complex, Fort Leavenworth attended the Northrop Grumman Women’s Leadership Conference at Long Beach, Calif., April 8 and 9, 2014.

Ealey Seto, Diamond Bar, Calif. and Brigette Millikan, Wichita, Kan., were two out of 50 women selected to attend worldwide.

Seto, a network support team lead, and Millikan, a mission command systems instructor, were nominated by their program manager, Derek Stidham, who had to write a one-page recommendation for both employees.

“When I heard that I’ve been nominated to attend the 2014 women’s conference, I was honored and thankful my management took special interest in my personal and professional growth,” said Seto.

“I saw this as an opportunity to learn about the hierarchy and different sectors of Northrop Grumman,” said Seto.

“Hearing the expectations and goals of the company from the president of the company was extremely memorable,” said Millikan.

“I feel very privileged to have been selected to attend the conference,” said Millikan.

“Ealey and Brigette represent some of the most intelligent and talented team members we have. I was both honored to have them nominated and proud to have them selected,” said Robert Lopez, site manager with Northrop Grumman.

The focus of the conference was women working in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines in Northrop Grumman and preparing them for leadership roles within the company and their local communities.

Northrop Grumman has over 65,000 employees worldwide and employs more than 17,700 women.
