CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Lt. Col. Craig C. Clemans relinquished command of 2nd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, to Lt. Col. Edwin Norris during a change of command ceremony aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 26.

During the ceremony, Clemans thanked his wife and kids for their support throughout his Marine Corps career and then addressed the new commander of 2nd Maintenance Bn.

“Give these Marines their expectations, and let them exceed it,” said Clemans. “That’s been my experience over these past two years, and it’ll be yours as well.”

Norris, the new commanding officer, recently served with the Capabilities Integration Office at Headquarters Marine Corps in Washington, D.C.

During his remarks, Norris said he is excited to get the opportunity to work with the Marines in the battalion and looks forward to continuing the unit’s success.

“Sometimes you’re [going to] be asked to do a lot with a little,” said Norris as he addressed the battalion “Sometimes you’re [going to] be asked to make something out of nothing. I look forward to making that happen with you all.”
