ELBERTON, Ga. - The 1st Battalion 214th Field Artillery Regiment, 648th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, Georgia Army National Guard return home from successful deployment to Shindand, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Georgia National Guard's Adjutant General Maj Gen Butterworth, Commanding General GaARNG BG Jarrard, Families, Friends, and members of the community attend Granite Battalion's coming home ceremony. It was a rainy day, however the Elbert County High School's Inferno Gym was a scorching atmosphere to welcome TF Granite home after a successful deployment to Shindand, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
