FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. - The 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, held its annual officers vs. noncommissioned officers football game, dubbed the Turkey Bowl, Nov. 26 in the Fort Leonard Wood snow.
The officers from the brigade's headquarters earned bragging rights in a memorable contest as they squeaked past the stout NCO squad, 18-13. The enlisted team played full of passion and grabbed a late lead, but the officers answered with a touchdown of their own, followed by a key pick that sealed the victory for the saluted side.
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Adam Wright carved through the opposing defense to earn game most valuable player honors.
