JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. - Khadejah Brown, daughter of Aziz Muhammad and Lillie Mitchell, recently was named the United States Air Force Expeditionary Center Civilian of the Year (Category II) at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J.
Brown, 423rd Mobility Training Squadron Aviation Resource Management section chief, was awarded for her outstanding contributions to the USAF EC mission during 2014.
The U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center is the Air Force's Center of Excellence for advanced mobility and expeditionary combat support training and education. The unit also provides direct oversight of airfields, installation support functions, contingency response forces, and international partner capacity building mission sets around the world.
Brown is a 1997 graduate of Bertie High School in Windsor, N.C. and is married to Barrington O. Brown of Saint Thomas, Jamaica.
