AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. - Stephanie Vigil, longtime anchor for KHQ 6 News, was the guest speaker at the 2015 Women's History Month luncheon here March 17.
Vigil thanked the more than 140 attendees for their service and said she was honored to be part of the event. She also spoke about the importance of women and their many contributions throughout history and today.
Vigil went on to speak about women who inspired her, to include her mother and her 94-year-old grandmother who still drives and is very active.
The Fairchild Women's History Month committee is also hosting a 5K, run or walk, at 3:30 p.m., March 27 in Miller Park.
