FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. - Senior leaders from the Canadian Army Reserve, U.S. Army Reserve, U.S. Army National Guard and U.S. Army North Command will visit here July 24, 2015, to study the 91st Training Division’s Warrior Exercise.
The exercise will include military police training in an urban environment, medical evacuations using helicopters and engineering construction projects. These elements of the Warrior Exercise contribute to the realism of the training, which is designed to replicate a primitive combat environment.
Lt. Gen. Jeffrey W. Talley, chief of the Army Reserve, will host discussions between Canadian and U.S. Army leadership to explore the expansion of multi-component training opportunities throughout the U.S. Army Reserve.
The Army Reserve’s Combat Support Training Program is one of the premier training platforms in the U.S. military, and the 84th Training Command is the program’s action agent. The 84th hosts international and joint service members at several exercises throughout the country, allowing our citizen-Soldiers to train alongside international forces in preparation for deployment overseas.
