    144th Fighter Wing

FRESNO AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Calif. – Approximately 130 Airmen assigned to the 144th Fighter Wing made their way to Savannah, Ga., Aug. 19, to participate in Atlantic Spear, a cost-effective training exercise which will allow 144th members to sharpen their warfighting skills and deployment procedures while working with other Air National Guard units.

Six 144th FW F-15 Eagles and approximately 36 short tons of cargo and equipment were also sent to Savannah for the Airmen to utilize in the duration of the training exercise.

This is the 144th Fighter Wing’s second time in Savannah this year, ensuring all Airmen are given the opportunity to receive the highest quality of training so they are better prepared to respond to real world contingencies.

Atlantic Spear is hosted by the Air Dominance Center, Georgia Air National Guard and will last about two weeks long.
