FRESNO AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Calif. – Approximately 130 Airmen assigned to the 144th Fighter Wing made their way to Savannah, Ga., Aug. 19, to participate in Atlantic Spear, a cost-effective training exercise which will allow 144th members to sharpen their warfighting skills and deployment procedures while working with other Air National Guard units.
Six 144th FW F-15 Eagles and approximately 36 short tons of cargo and equipment were also sent to Savannah for the Airmen to utilize in the duration of the training exercise.
