NIAGARA FALLS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. - After 25 years working as a volunteer in the 914th Airlift Wing Retirees Office, retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. John A. Caruso spent his last working day here Sept. 3, 2015, enjoying the company of friends and family.
Prior to his 25 years of dedicated service to the 914 AW in the Retirees Office, Caruso served an impressive 29 and a half years in the Air Force as a B-29 navigator. He is a veteran of both World War II and Korea.
When asked of his future plans, Caruso responded with a twinkle in his eye that he would be enjoying more time with his family - wife of 55 years, son and daughter, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
