SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. – U.S. Air Force aircraft and Airmen currently deployed in the U.S. Central Command area of operations will participate in the Dubai Air Show, scheduled for Nov. 8-12, 2015, at the Dubai World Center in the United Arab Emirates.
The Dubai Air Show is recognized as the premier aviation and aerospace industry event in the Middle East region and is one of the largest air shows in the world.
Airmen are planning to provide static displays of the F-15E Strike Eagle, C-130J Super Hercules and CV-22 Osprey, as well as fly-bys of a B-1B Lancer and F-22 Raptor.
“U.S. participation in this event builds upon our strong relationship with the UAE and enhances our relationships with other allies and partners in the region,” said Lt. Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., commander of U.S. Air Forces Central Command. “It’s also a great opportunity to highlight U.S. Air Force aviation technology and the men and women who serve in our force.”
This year’s show is expected to attract more than 1,100 exhibitors from 60 countries and 65,000 trade visitors. For more information about the Dubai Air Show, please visit the event website, http://www.dubaiairshow.aero/.
