The tournament and food sales collectively generated approximately $2,000 in donations to CFC. Funds from the tournament’s admission costs were donated to the CFC Semper Fi Fund and the CFC Wounded Warriors Organization. Remaining funds from food sales were donated to the CFC.
CFC awarded the first place team; consisting of Scott Ferguson, along with Lance Cpl. Garry Goldman, rifleman, Lance Cpl. Philip Armstrong, rifleman and Sgt. Steven Anderson, vehicle commander, 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance, with Desert Winds Golf Club polos.
CFC is structured to support and promote philanthropy through a voluntary program that is cost-efficient and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to impact the CFC charitable interest of their choosing.
This year’s CFC Campaign will continue through December 15, 2015. More information on CFC and charity donations is available at www.socalcfc.org.
