FORT STEWART, Ga. - Soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, began movement from Fort Stewart, Georgia, to Fort Bliss, Texas, Jan. 12, 2016.
The 3-7IN Cottonbaler Soldiers will train alongside Soldiers from 1st Armored Division, out of Bliss, during Bulldog Focus, which will consist of company to brigade level live-fire exercises. This training is in preparation for a rotation this spring at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. The NTC rotation will validate the battalion’s readiness as they continue to support 2nd IBCT as the Regionally Aligned Force for U.S. Army Africa.
