FORT STEWART, Ga. - The commander from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, and Lewis Frasier Middle School staff installed their partnership sign in front of the Hinesville, Ga. school, Feb. 17, 2016.
Capt. Travers Doane, HHC commander, Principal Jermaine Williams, and LaVanda Spencer, the school’s parent involvement coordinator, drilled in the sign, signifying the organizations’ dedication to 3rd Infantry Division’s and Liberty County School’s Adopt-A-School program.
This program strengthens the bonds between Fort Stewart and its surrounding local communities. It also affords the Soldiers an opportunity to give back on the home front through various events, such as tutoring and field day festivities.
