Coast Guard Cutters Wrangell and Baranof hold change of command ceremonies
Coast Guard Capt. Anthony Ceraolo, PATFORSWA commodore, presided over the ceremonies where Lt. Nicholas Forni relieved Lt. Soren Rose as commanding officer of Cutter Wrangell, and Lt. Rafael Batlle relieved Lt. David Smith as commanding officer of Cutter Baranof.
PATFORSWA is the Coast Guard's largest unit outside of the United States,
and plays a key role in theater security cooperation, maritime security and
maritime infrastructure protection operations throughout the U.S. Navy's
Central Command area of operations. The Baranof and Wrangell are two of six 110-foot cutters operating under NAVCENT.
