Spc. Rebecca M. Forman, born in Romania and a current resident of Philadelphia, serves as a human resources specialist in the 213th Personnel Company, 213th Regional Support Group.
“I joined the Guard to help people, be a part of something bigger than myself to be honest,” said Forman.
Forman has been with the unit for three years and enjoys being a human resources specialist because the skills translate well into the civilian world, she said.
Spc. Forman recently delivered the invocation at the 213th Personnel Company’s change of responsibility ceremony at Fort Indiantown Gap. She is a Jewish studies major at Temple University and intends to continue rabbinical studies at Hebrew Union College in hopes of becoming a rabbi.
“If religion is important to you, you should study it to protect it,” said Forman.
