FORT STEWART, Ga – Leaders of 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division hosted a battalion organization day at Corkan Recreational Facility, Fort Stewart, Georgia, Nov. 23.
The organization day was time set aside for 3-15th Inf. Soldiers and families to bond over sports and food as an Army Family.
“Organization day is an important day for the battalion because it gives the unit a relaxed day,” said 2nd Lt. Patrick Ellison, event coordinator and operations officer with 3-15th Inf. “It provides an opportunity for all the companies to network and bring everyone together.”
Soldiers and families ate pizza, roller skated, rock climbed and played laser tag at the on-post Morale, Wellness and Recreational center.
“A battalion organization day is important to build morale because Soldiers put in a lot of work, day in and day out,” said Ellison. “This is an opportunity to thank them and their loved ones.”
