FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa.- Installation officials will host a tree-lighting ceremony 3:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, at the corner of Fisher Avenue and Wiley Road, near the C-130 Hercules (cargo plane) static display.
Brig. Gen. Tony Carrelli, Pennsylvania adjutant general, will preside over the ceremony. He will be accompanied by Col. Robert Hepner, Fort Indiantown Gap garrison commander.
Music will be provided by the “Brass in Blue” quintet of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard Band of the Northeast. Santa will arrive at the ceremony via a Fort Indiantown Gap fire truck.
After the tree lighting the public is invited to the Fort Indiantown Gap Community Club for a visit with Santa and complimentary treats for kids, hot chocolate, warm cider and cookies.
