DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif.,- Marines with Combat Center Base Explosive Ordnance Disposal paid a visit to Painted Hills Middle School students during the school’s career day Feb. 23, 2017.
Sgt. Alexander Strait and Staff Sgt. Robert Bouchard, EOD technicians, talked to 8th grade students about the Marine Corps, their specific military occupational specialty, and explained the different tools and inert ordnance they handle as EOD techs.
The purpose of the visit was to further the installations commitment to the community by helping inspire the children to begin thinking about their future.
