    Story by Sgt. Kimberly Browne

    U.S. Army Central

CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – Servicemembers and civilians at Camp Arifjan came together for a shadowing of National Police Week and a candle light vigil, May 5, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
The vigil was a means for all sections of law enforcement, whether military or civilian, on Camp Arifjan to respect their own fallen, or End of Watch. The Camp Arifjan Police Week also held a shadow 5k run and a dinner honoring some of their own.
National Police Week comes as a preamble to National Police Day, which is May 15. This week and day are annual tributes to law enforcement service and sacrifice.
