Spanning roughly 145 acres, this solar facility will have a potential capacity of 24 megawatts direct current, or 17 megawatts alternating current. This project will contribute to the Department of the Navy’s diverse energy portfolio, ensuring more secure and resilient operations at Naval Support Activity Crane.
The ceremony will be held on May 18 at 10:00 a.m. and is scheduled to feature remarks by Suzanne Crouch, Lieutenant Governor of Indiana; Melody Birmingham-Byrd, Indiana President, Duke Energy; and John Kliem, executive director of the Department of the Navy’s Resilient Energy Program Office.
