QUEENSBURY, N.Y. - Eight New York Army National Guard Soldiers graduated from the Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP), on Sunday May 21st, 2017 at the Queensbury Armory here.
The Soldiers had recently returned home from Basic Combat Training and
Advanced Individual Training and were being handed off to their first unit.
The Soldiers:
o Pvt. Justin Foster, from Schenectady N.Y. ;
o Pvt. Terran Paul, from Troy N.Y.;
o Pfc. Kyle Lamica, from North Bangor N.Y.;
o Pvt. Jamie Bigelow, from Saranac Lake N.Y.;
o Pfc. Aron Countryman, from Malone N.Y.;
o Pvt. Robert Hoard, from Berlin N.Y.;
o Pvt. Zachary Fowler, from Troy N.Y.;
and Pvt. Jason Simon, from Scotia N.Y. met representatives from their units before conducting a Battle Handoff Ceremony, led by Master Sgt. Jason Williamson, B Co. Recruiting and Retention 1st PLT Section Chief, in front of family and friends.
