FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa.– The 728th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania Army National Guard welcomed the 252nd Quartermaster Company with an activation ceremony here April 3.
The activation ceremony is an Army tradition that commemorates the beginning or continuation of a new unit’s history and lineage that features the unfurling of the unit’s guidon.
The 252nd Quartermaster Company requires 206 Soldiers at full strength and is looking for Soldiers to fill several vacancies in the unit.
The unit is stationed at the Southampton Road Armory in Philadelphia.
The 252nd Quartermaster Company’s mission includes providing both perishable and semi-perishable general supply, retrograde support, petroleum supply, water supply support and shower and laundry services to supported units.
