    Fish joins Team Fairchild after serving as the deputy director of Analysis and Future Programs Division, Inspector General’s Office at Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

    “I consider myself extremely blessed to stand before you and to accept the guidon from such an outstanding leader,” said Fish. “To the men and women of the OSS, I am humbled by the sacrifices you and your families make on a daily basis. It is truly an honor for me to be with you today.”

    Fish commissioned in 2001 and has previously served in numerous roles throughout his career to include: Standardization and Evaluations Liaison Officer Assistant Director of Operations and Instructor aircraft commander, Operations and Plans Officer, and he is a senior pilot with more than 3,500 flight hours.

    His decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters and an Air Medal with four oak leaf clusters.

    “I can think of no greater Airman to continue the excellence that we have here,” said Col. Todd Cargle, 92nd Operations Group commander and officiating officer for the ceremony. “Squadron command is simply the best job on the planet due to the amount of impact on our nation’s most precious combat weapon system - our Airmen.”
