NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. - The 914th Air Refueling Wing provided aerial delivery support here Sept. 25, 2017 to the NY National Guard’s hurricane relief mission to the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Reserve Citizen Airmen of the 30th Aerial Port Squadron loaded equipment and personnel onto an Air National Guard C-130 from the 152nd Airlift Wing, Reno, Nevada.
These Air Force Guard and Reserve members were loading and transporting NY Army National Guard members of the 105th Military Police, Buffalo NY, to St. Croix to support the humanitarian relief efforts there in the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
The Army Guard members will be joined in the next few days by additional members of the 105 MP along with equipment and supplies and nearly a dozen New York State Troopers.
