FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. – The Fort Indiantown Gap National Guard Training Center, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, held a change-of-command ceremony here Nov. 18.
Lt. Col. Lane Marshall assumed command from Col. Robert Hepner with the traditional passing of the colors.
Under Hepner’s leadership, the installation successfully hosted its first and second division-level Warfighter exercises, and its first regional Best Warrior Competition, Air Assault, Pathfinder and Rappel Master courses. It has also been nationally recognized for its environmental initiatives, facilities and engineering program and digital program.
Marshall spoke about his intention to build on Hepner’s legacy, including the prioritization of community relations.
