Distinguished visitors (DVs) visit Task Force Southeast Advisory Post (AP) Lighting as part of a
United Service Organizations (USO) 2017 Holiday Tour to meet with troops and thank them for their service. Both military and civilian guests made up the DVs which included the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff U.S. Marine Corps Gen. Joe Dunford, U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) and Resolute Support (RS) Commander U.S Army Gen. John W. Nicholson Jr., Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Command Sgt. Maj. John Wayne Troxell, NATO RS, USFOR-A Senior Enlisted Leader Command Sgt. Maj. David M. Clark, actor Adam Devine, WWE Superstars Michael “The Miz” Mizanin and Alicia Fox, celebrity chef Robert Irvine, musician Jerrod Niemann, comedian Iliza Shlesinger and TNA Wrestling star Gail Kim. The DVs were given a tour of AP Lightning to include a demonstration of a 1-40 CAV Mortar Team fire mission. Later the entertainers performed on stage for the troops.
