A Soldier who's a student in the Fort McCoy Cold-Weather Operations Course learns to ski and about skiing techniques Jan. 11, 2018, at Whitetail Ridge Ski Area at Fort McCoy, Wis.

The students in the course, all Soldiers from various active- and reserve-component units, were in Class 18-02 for the course.
