PASADENA, Calif., January 25, 2018 – The U.S. Army and Olios Health signed a partnership agreement on January 19 as part of the U.S. Army Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program. The 6th Medical Recruiting Battalion Commander, Lt. Col. Matthew Mapes, and Dr. Clayton Varga, CEO of Olios Health and Affiliated Companies, signed the memorandum of agreement during a ceremony at Olios Health Headquarters attended by Soldiers from the Valencia Medical Recruiting Station and Olios Health employees.

“The United States Army and Army Medicine are excited to add Olios Health and Affiliated Companies to its team of partners in the Partnership for Youth Success Program,” said Mapes. “We are proud of our partnerships that enable our recruiters to offer applicants quality employment interviews after their Army service.”
PaYS was developed to help the Army attract, train and deploy talented young people who want to serve their country, but also want to help secure their future success once their military service is complete. It connects Soldiers to potential employers by providing two guaranteed job interviews and possible employment. Soldiers who participate in the program gain leadership, valuable technical skills, and experience while providing employers with a pool of highly skilled, motivated and professional candidates from which they may fill their personnel needs.

”The discipline and resilience that the Army instills in its Soldiers will allow them to serve new roles in civilian society with dedication and distinction,” said Varga. “I’m looking forward to the very first interview, from the very first PaYS soldier, and I’m very much looking forward to welcoming that individual to our family here at Olios Health.”
PaYS is a strategic partnership program between the Army and a cross section of U.S. corporations and public sector agencies. The Army’s list of corporate partners is growing. Olios Health is the 697th company to partner with the PaYS program.

“Each year, thousands of young men and women develop valuable skills and gain experience in a broad spectrum of Army jobs. They are motivated, have professional work habits, and high standards of conduct,” said Mapes. “This partnership is one way we can ensure our Soldiers continue to achieve success after leaving the Army, and that American civilian employers can benefit by gaining quality employees.”

Olios Health and Affiliated Companies jobs are scheduled to be available in the Army’s PaYS database soon. For more information, interested applicants may visit their local recruiter or log on to www.armypays.com.
