Ullr Shield is a training exercise designed to improve 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing’s capabilities in extreme cold-weather environments.
The 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing is headquartered at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C.
Hundreds of Marines participated in the exercise at Fort McCoy and dozens of vehicles were used by the service members to complete exercise operations.
