Training Support Center (TSC) San Diego recognized and advanced five Sailors to the rank of senior chief petty officer during a pinning ceremony in the Chiefs Mess June 8.
TSC San Diego Commanding Officer Capt. Michael Feyedelem commended the following individuals and presented each with a promotion certificate.
-Senior Chief Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Equipment) Jesse Yoes
-Senior Chief Electricians Mate Willie Scott
-Senior Chief Sonar Technician (Surface) Steven Polster
-Senior Chief Gas Turbine Systems Technician Mark Gardner
-Senior Chief Aviation Machinists Mate William Seviour
Feyedelem addressed the group explaining the promotion comes with an obligation to assume more positions of leadership and overall greater responsibility.
“We’re looking at a group of elite folks here who walked through the front doors of Recruit Training Command and became senior chief petty officers,” said Feyedelem. “To those who got promoted today – congratulations. You’re not done. Keep working.”
