Story by Airman 1st Class Randall Moose

    17th Training Wing

Members from the Angelo State University football team visited Goodfellow Air Force Base to take on the 344th Military Intelligence Battalion’s team building obstacle course Aug. 15.
The 344th MI BN designed the course, made up of six different obstacles, to facilitate team building and encourage critical thinking. Each course has three parts, delivering supplies or wounded personnel over difficult terrain and ensuring the safe passage of each team member. Resources and time are limited to add stress to the experience. The 344th MI BN dedicated the six obstacles to soldiers who earned the Medal of Honor.
Goodfellow’s Army battalion Commander, Lt. Col. Yukio Kuniyuki, invited the ASU team not only to challenge themselves on the course, but also to give the students an insight into how the military builds teamwork.
