FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. - Fort Indiantown Gap has joined with other government agencies and is now enrolled in AlertPA, a mass notification service by CodeRED.
Subscribers may opt in to several notification options including phone calls, text messages and emails. Notification settings may be adjusted as needed at any time.
“This is another tool to keep people informed,” said Lt. Col. Lane Marshall, garrison commander, “we anticipate using the system to notify residents of artillery, demolition and mortar training events as well as prescribed burn notifications. In the event of an emergency situation where members of the public must be kept informed, the system will be used for that as well.”
Current AlertPA users will be able to log into their existing account and select "Fort Indiantown Gap" from the "Additional Notifications" section on the AlertPA website. New users will need to create an account and then select the option to receive Fort Indiantown Gap alerts.

Fort Indiantown Gap is the busiest Army National Guard training center in the nation and is run by members of the Pennsylvania National Guard and Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
