CENTENNIAL, Colo. – The Adjutant General of Colorado, U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Michael A. Loh, will conduct an annual state-wide tour of Colorado Army National Guard facilities to enhance situational awareness and community connections Sept. 5-6, 2018.
The Adjutant General and senior leaders from the Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, COARNG, and the Colorado Air National Guard will assess equipment and facilities during the tour as well as visit with local officials and unit members.
“I look forward to personally thanking the Colorado Army National Guard full-time force based in our readiness centers,” U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Mike Loh said. “These Soldiers daily advance and sustain our unit capabilities to support the warfight, defend the homeland, help protect our communities during state emergencies, and build critical partnerships.”
This year’s tour includes visits to units, communities, and readiness centers in Rocky Ford, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Longmont, and Fort Lupton.
