FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. – The annual greater community event honoring service members who made the ultimate sacrifice is a week away. This year’s March for the Fallen event will be held Saturday, Sep. 29 at Fort Indiantown Gap’s Strickler Field.
Those interested in participating may still register in-person the day before and the morning of the event, but will not be guaranteed an event t-shirt.

Categories include a 28-mile “March for the Fallen” route with a heavy division (35 pound minimum rucksack/backpack) and a light division (no weight requirement), a 14-mile “Honor March” with heavy and light divisions, a 5K “Run for the Fallen,” and a 28-mile hand cycle/push-rim division race for participants with mobility challenges. Participants may enter individually or as a team.
This is the seventh year for the community event that draws individuals from across the U.S. to honor all those who have fallen in defense of our nation.
