Personnel were busy with multiple efforts in July 2015 at the Equipment Concentration Site (ECS)-67 at Fort McCoy, Wis.
ECS-67 provides maintenance and storage of equipment for U.S. Army Reserve units that train at the installation.
By providing equipment storage, ECS-67 allows more viability for units to train on post and also saves the government money by avoiding the costs of transporting equipment between unit home stations and Fort McCoy.
Fort McCoy has supported America’s armed forces since 1909. The installation’s motto is to be the “Total Force Training Center.”
The post’s varied terrain, state-of-the-art ranges, new as well as renovated facilities, and extensive support infrastructure combine to provide military personnel with an environment in which to develop and sustain the skills necessary for mission success.
