Members of a staff delegation visit, including Brigid Houton and John Lucio, U.S. Senate staff delegates, visited Fort McCoy, Wis., on Oct. 30, 2018.
The staff delegation visit provided the delegates with an overall perspective of the installation.
The visitors received an aerial helicopter tour aboard a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter operated by an aircrew with the Wisconsin National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 147th Aviation Regiment of Madison, Wis.
They also visited post simulation facilities, barracks, and more.
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.
Fort McCoy lives its motto, "Total Force Training Center."
The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
