3:30 in the morning and before you can reach the alarm the voices in your head are telling you that it’s too early, too dark, and too cold to get out of bed, but not for Spc. Fabian Horany’s. His day starts at 3:30 AM followed by a rigorous workout routine at 3:45 AM. He takes a small break for breakfast at 5:00 AM and by 6:00 AM he’s already in the office starting his day. Spc. Horany’s official title is the Command Sgt. Maj.’s driver, but you’ll find him doing much more. Throughout the day you’ll catch him maintaining the cleanliness of the building, the command team’s vehicles, and assisting with managing the Commander’s and Command Sgt. Maj.’s schedule, which is as predictable as guessing the winning lottery numbers. When the moon has replaced the sun in the night sky then you’ll see Spc. Horany packs his bag and heads back to his barrack where he prepares for the following day.

What does he do on his free time? Spc. Horany goes to church and walks around the installation to clear his mind. He writes his own newsletter and works on his musical. He is definitely not a lazy person.

Spc. Fabian Horany is from Switzerland but for now calls Dallas, TX home. To his friends and family, he wants to say, “Sending my love to my husband, family, and friends here and in Switzerland.”

Spc. Fabian Horany is your Blackhorse.

    Blackhorse. Get after it!
