Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Deputy Commander Steven Alsup and several senior staff members hosted DLA Energy Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Albert Miller Jan. 8 to give him a command level overview of Land and Maritime logistics operations.
The visit was part of an ongoing Agency effort to provide cross talk opportunities for major subordinate commanders to get a broader understanding of how their contemporaries are incorporating innovative supply chain initiatives.
After Miller and Alsup concluded a short office visit, Land and Maritime’s Director of Operations Griff Warren provided a comprehensive supply chain overview.
Warren’s presentation was followed by directorate level presentations from Land and Maritime’s Supplier Operations, Special Acquisition Programs and the Engineering and Technical Support Directorate.
Miller’s visit concluded with a working lunch with Alsup, Acquisition Executive Mark Brown and Chief of Staff Air Force Col. Janette Ketchum.
