Military vehicles and equipment with the 389th Engineer Battalion were loaded on railcars Feb. 5, 2019, at the rail yard at Fort McCoy, Wis.

The movement is for the 389th’s future involvement in Operation Resolute Castle 2019 in Poland.

Unit Soldiers loaded 38 cars with vehicles and equipment after receiving training in a rail head operations class by representatives of Marine Corps Logistics Base-Barstow, Calif.

Fort McCoy’s Logistics Readiness Center personnel assisted with the loading operations.

Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin. The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
