FORT BRAGG, N.C. – U.S. Army Soldiers from the XVIII Airborne Corps conducted a multi-day Air Assault training event at Fort Bragg, N.C., Feb. 12 - 13, 2019.
The Soldiers conducted the training over the course of two days, and were taught the basics of Air Assault operations from the instructors of the Deglopper Air Assault School.
“What Soldiers take most from this kind of training is attention to detail, and a new kind of confidence from being under stress,” said Sgt. Drysthan Williams-Matos, an instructor with the Deglopper Air Assault School. “Soldiers leave here, and they leave here with pride, because they accomplished something that is bigger than themselves.”
