French senior military leaders visit U.S. Army Europe headquarters

Lt. Gen. Christopher Cavoli, U.S. Army Europe commanding general, Sgt. Maj. Robert Abernethy, U.S. Army Europe command sergeant major, and German Brig. Gen. Hartmut Renk, U.S. Army Europe chief of staff, were on hand to welcome the delegation. The visitors were here to meet with U.S. Army Europe leadership, receive a command brief and tour U.S. Army Europe facilities. Partner nation visits like these are designed to strengthen bilateral relations between allies. Soldiers from the 529th Military Police Company Honor Guard provided the honor cordon and the U.S. Army Europe Band played the French and U.S. national anthems.
