KABUL, Afghanistan — Continuing the dialogue of open communication, journalists and the media have the opportunity to ask questions of International Security Assistance Force personnel on a weekly basis.
This week, the ISAF deputy chief of staff, stability, Rear Admiral Matthieu Borsboom, Royal Netherlands navy, will answer questions posed by the media.
As deputy chief of staff stability, Rear Admiral Borsboom oversees two of the three pillars of ISAF; governance and development. From the number of new schools in Afghanistan to details on the upcoming elections and the support ISAF will provide, Rear Admiral Matthieu Borsboom is willing to answer your questions; any question. All you have to do is "Ask ISAF."
Other topics include but are not limited to:
- Contributions by the Dutch armed forces in Afghanistan
- Infrastructure-related questions such as new bridges, roads and hospitals
- Provincial reconstruction Teams
