Soldiers cleaned tactical vehicles at the Central Vehicle Wash Facility (CVWF) Aug. 25 and 26, 2015, at Fort McCoy, Wis.
The CVWF has 23 stations available to clean military tactical vehicles and heavy equipment, as well as the ability to reuse up to 98 percent of the water.
Built in 1994, the CVWF runs seven days a week from April 1 through Oct. 31 — a prime time of the year for training at Fort McCoy.
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin. The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
