Soldiers participated in an equipment familiarization event as part of a 426th Regiment Regional Training Institute training course at the Wisconsin Military Academy on March 11, 2016, at Fort McCoy, Wis.
The 426th, part of the Wisconsin National Guard, provides technical education for the basic field artillery military occupational specialty qualifications and field-artillery noncommissioned officer-education system, as well as truck driving, combat lifesaving, and other courses.
Fort McCoy has supported America’s armed forces since 1909.
The post’s varied terrain, state-of-the-art ranges, new as well as renovated facilities, and extensive support infrastructure combine to provide military personnel with an environment in which to develop and sustain the skills necessary for mission success.
