Fort Stewart's Wright Army Airfield hosted the Georgia National Guard's Parachute Operations Mishap Prevention Orientation Course May 2.

The course, hosted annually by the state's safety office, is geared toward leaders and jump masters from across the airborne community and provides updates on updates in airborne operations, said Lt. Col. John Till, safety director for the Georgia National Guard.

"A lot of things change," Till said. "This is the best way to give the safety updates."

The paratroopers jumped from a C-130 with the Air Force's 165th Airlift Wing based in Savannah.
